Our winery built in 2001 is a unique production facility of its kind in Rioja. Bodegas Campo Viejo work according to the principles of sustainable development and have created a perfect balance between oenology, architecture and sustainability

Inaugurated in 2001, Campo Viejo was designed with the aim of preserving a harmonious balance between oenology, architecture and sustainability, something new in the Rioja winemaking industry at that time. Visit this awesome project, with a unique work of architecture including over 45,000 square metres of underground construction. Situated in the Qualified Rioja Designation of Origin, Campo Viejo stands 100 metres above the level of the River Ebro and is surrounded by 54 hectares of vineyard.

Following the grapes’ journey through the winery you will be amazed by our barrel cellar, one of the most spectacular in the world, … with 70,000 oak barrels resting in the same space.
